Tonicity classes are developed and directed by Siobhan Heaney. Siobhan has a background in psychology and first started her career with the Northlands Independent Treatment Centre in Derry. She has studied singing and piano and in particular the beneficial effects music has on us physically and emotionally.
Her love of music and life has resulted in the development of SingTonicity, in an effort to help others achieve a sense of well being through music and song. Siobhan is passionate about encouraging others to empower themselves to cope with life’s daily challenges.
She has completed Singing Workshop Training organised by the Norfolk and Waveney Mental Health Partnership. She is director of The Pink Ladies Breast Cancer Support Choir and Momentum Community Choir and was a director of The Long Tower Church Senior Choir, Derry from 2010 until 2014. Siobhan has a real zest for life and people. She is married with five children and four grandchildren.
